This poster was produced for Weltformat exhibition. Tourism was the main theme for the exhibition and participants were asked to pick a place to express their ideas. I chose Jujeon Mongdol Beach where is located in Ulsan, South Korea.
Unlike usual sand beaches in Korea, you can find mongdols of different sizes at the beach. Mongdol is a small, smooth, round stone which is normally called black pebble in English. Instead of typical tourism posters, playful typography was used to attract people and counter was intentionally filled with black in order to represent black pebbles.
This poster will be exhibited from 22nd February until 22nd March at Platform Changdong-61 in Seoul.
