The problem I wanted to focus on was sensory sensitivity. 20% of people have sensory sensitivities, this is especially true for those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The current market has services or products all directed on educational and physical health purposes for young children. There is no solution directed towards an older demographic. For this reason, I created a company that can work with a larger demographic and be mature enough to spark the interest of adolescents.

Through research, I concluded a combination of a service and product would be best. I created the company, Easense, that was dedicated to the well-being of those affected by everyday sensory sensitivities by creating a sense of comfort and calmness in a society where constant change can be overwhelming. Easense would deliver a monthly sensory box. Users were able to personalize their account profile to alter the colors, textures, and sounds to their preference. The application works as a communication outlet for the sensory sensitivities, especially the Autism community, that allows messaging, sensory activities, and resources to create a safe supportive environment.

The project results displayed a sophisticated approach to the sensory solution. The Easense branding creates a mood of maturity, inclusion, comfort, calmness, safety, and dependability that is lacking in the market.
