The project was created with a dual purpose: to express dissatisfaction with the Brazilian politicians and at the same time educate dog owners of the importance of collecting their pet's poop.
The problem of dog feces left by pet owners on the sidewalks bother everyone. In this scenario, Brazil is experiencing a crisis of representation. We believe in combining these two problems by creating dumps to dog's poop that serve as voting polls to measure the unpopularity of the candidates for mayor of São Paulo. And showcase the results on a digital billboard placed in front of the Legislative Chamber.
Brazilian people could make their protest the way Brazilians do: with humor and using social media buzz. Because if Brazilian politics can't be less shitty at least the streets can.
