The assignment of the series "through the woods" was to create work in occasion of a travel exhibition of the BFF photographers association Germany. The concept was to capture photographs for the topic "trigger" which motivated us to concentrate on an un-commissioned work. The image attached and one more of our work have been judged and exhibited in four german cities.

Our approach was to get closer to an occupation which - like photographers - also considers with the keyword "trigger". After two meetings before the shooting we were given an insight in the task field of an huntsman which became our foundation for storyboard setting the person and his profession in focus. Showing the job as a huntsman in a very neutral way always has been very important to us.

The final result is a body of work which overall contains four documentary images. By giving an insight in how a day of a huntsman looks like we gave the spectator the chance to build his very own opinion.
