The LeRoy Neiman Center is the first student center in the 150 year history of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and was made possible by a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Neiman-both alumns of the school. The School wanted to brand the new student center to give it a fun and unique vision.

The logo draws inspiration directly from LeRoy Neiman's vibrant painting style. Bright magenta and cyan rectangles overlap, forming an ‘L’ for ‘LeRoy,’ also symbolizing a junction of ideas and students coming together to create something new and unique. As the letter ‘L’ is naturally a corner, it also represents the Center's location on the corner of Monroe and Wabash Avenues in downtown Chicago where the LeRoy Neiman Center resides.

The school was ecstatic, and loves the different layers behind it.
