This feature opening spread is part of a larger 12-page magazine assignment. My goal was to create a lot of visual and typographic interest through interaction.
Approach
The process for this project included many iterations from word lists and hand drawn layouts to digital roughs. I throughly explored imagery, typographic effects, and layout.
Results
This spread was well received by peers and my instructor for it's successful use of interaction of elements, typographic interest, and compelling imagery. I was also happy with the conceptual take on the subject and the cohesive quality.
