Create an internal poster campaign celebrating the 25th anniversary of the number one business laptop of all time.
We highlighted the ThinkPad’s greatest achievements using its most iconic feature – the TrackPoint. Using only the colors of the ThinkPad, the posters were designed to be as simple and sophisticated as the laptop itself. And each poster told a different part of the ThinkPad story. Because Lenovo is a global company, each piece also needed to transcend language and culture to have the biggest and most immediate impact.
On October 15th, in 33 offices around the world, more than 50,000 employees celebrated this enormous milestone with food, drinks and stories from the original ThinkPad designer himself, surrounded by posters that paid homage to this enduring piece of history. All the revelers left the party with an immense sense of pride. Some even left with a poster in hand, ripped down from the walls!
