To challenge myself, I created a 70 day project where I painted one small painting a day for 70 days. Using watercolours and cold press board I created little moments of my emotions that I felt at that time each day. This project was the perfect way for me to improve my craft, and I was incredibly pleased to see that the improvement of my work was very obvious.
Obviously there were some bad days where you can see my struggle in that painting, but instead of hiding it away I published all of my mistakes to show that there will always be struggles with art. Seeing those mistakes reminds me that I have come a long way with my artwork.
In the end I hope to display my progress with pride and show the viewer that not all artwork is beautiful.
