The Cottonhouse Hotel, Barcelona is a five star hotel offering a premium experience to international clients. Cottonhouse Hotel commissioned Noho Comunicación to develop a premier brand identity system befitting the opulent 5 star hotel.
Approach
Noho Comunicación contacted Kevin Cantrell Studio to help develop a typographic approach that hearkens to Spanish, period roots, to help create a contemporary system that matches the opulence of the hotel.
Results
The concept is rooted in cotton spools that form opulent guilloche patterns inspired by 18th century spanish currency and typography, befitting the neoclassical restored building used for the Cottonhouse Hotel.
