Our objective was to create a billboard for the Florida Aquarium that would take advantage of its prominent placement just outside the airport. This would be the first thing that visitors who just arrived in town would see after leaving the Tampa International Airport.
We wanted to welcome visitors to Tampa and make a strong first impression on them right after they left the airport and were on the way to begin their vacation. So we merged the tail end of a plane with the front of a shark to create a very eye-catching image and encouraged these new arrivals to make the Aquarium their next destination.
This billboard was very well-received by our client and, with over 1.8 million impressions a month, it is certainly leaving a distinctive mark on consumers as well.
