The Alabama Bicentennial Commission engaged our team to create an original series of posters honoring the people, places and events that uniquely shaped Alabama counties. For Cullman County, it was important to honor the area’s agricultural origins because local farms still proudly supply the state with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.

For Cullman County, we created an original poster honoring their legendary strawberry festival that lures thousands of visitors to the area every year. A larger-than-life strawberry turned balloon offers a playful invitation to the festival and to the area.

The Cullman County poster has sparked a delicious amount of interest in the area’s strawberry festival. It is now used to teach 4th grade Alabama history and culture in classrooms throughout the state.
