In PEOPLE vs PEOPLE, the main character is the speech. In order to “increase the frequency” of this figure of the manipulator, we chose to choose the narrative of a coherent discourse framed in a distorted reality. The language of the courts sets the tone of the speech of the actors on the scene. The action is an interview that gradually becomes a judgment. The dramaturgical construction concentrates different discourses in the same line, apparently coherent, convincing, persuasive. In a first part of the play the spectator. He is led to accept the discourse presented as a possible reality. The breakdown of structure occurs when the manipulation and consequent decontextualization of discourse change the course of action, reversing the course of events and precipitating the outcome. What we have left is horror in its tragic sense.
In order to To make this horror explicit, I used the two skulls that symbolize the death of the characters' arguments. The blood on one of the skulls shows the violence of the words.
