As the creators of the Gold Glove Award, Rawlings wanted a video that acknowledged the hard work and sacrifice required to win the award. Revealed at a banquet honoring this year’s recipients, the video we created served as a telling reminder of the journey they made—and the glove that started it all.
While each winner took a different path to baseball’s biggest stage, they are united in their passion for the game. In focusing on the origins of this passion, we set out to tell a story that would resonate across players at every position and from varied backgrounds.
Given our small and specific audience, the only results to note are their collective response to the video.
