The Australian Nation Design Center runs a poster event each year called “The Australian Poster Annual”. In 2008 the theme provided was the concept of Strength in Numbers. My poster was designed to embrace this ideal with an execution of the traditional solidarity poster theme. The knot of rope is made from smaller ropes, which are, in turn, made from smaller strands and smaller fibers. A metaphor for the people of the world coming together in strength.
