Curiously Cannabis had a very defined audience and story for their new brand: street-style. We worked with their team to create a package that felt high-end while still embracing street culture and its look.
As hip-hop and graffiti lovers ourselves, it's safe to say this creative process was a fun one. We took a look at some trends throughout street and hip-hop culture by taking a look at graffiti work, album covers, skateboard decks, and posters. Once that style and approach was locked down, we got to work on making sure all regulations were appropriately featured within this style. Finally, we created a color system to allow for easy brand extension as new flavors were developed.
The team at SE7EN TEN was thrilled with the result of the packaging, and that Rule29 was able to turn the package design around in such a short time (about 2 weeks!). We can't wait to watch this brand grow as the packaging will continue to influence their merch, online presence, and more.
