Design a poster to promote a talk by designer Kelly Stevens. Creativity and talent go a long way in the design industry.

Problem-solving and story telling are at the core of a design professionals abilities. This takes a journey to develop these and other skills to be a proficient creative. The concept centered around the adventure of voyages and story telling, and style was inspired by whimsical seafaring maps. The mint green paper represents the designer’s company’s color, and the graphic references product design and a nautical ship. The typography is a modern, decorative face representing the designer and her style while alluding to vintage maritime maps.

The lecture and workshop were well received and attended by both faculty and students.
