Poster for a series of dancing workshops by Monika Schuberth-Silberbunt, a professional dancer based in Vienna. The goal was, to create a graphic style which matches her extraordinary ideas and open minded personality.
Approach
Exotic animals are dancing instead of people, to express this unusual and individual contemporary dance. A fundamental principle of this dancing style is to take and give body weight: the white strong tiger lifts an elegant “flying” bird. Digital collage of hand drawing and differing paper materials represent the individuality and artfulness of this modern dance form.
Results
Clients reaction were very positive. Unfortunately the Covid situation didn’t allow these workshops to take place. But, due to the impact of the poster the workshops were delayed hopefully to spring 2021.
