This piece of jewelry was selected as the main image for printed and digital collateral publicizing SCADstyle, the Savannah College of Art and Design's annual global celebration of design. Created by SCAD jewelry student Miao He, the piece had to be captured in such a way that showed off the potential colors of the paper-thin metal. The image needed to make the entire surface appear luminescent from the camera’s perspective.

Multiple images were captured with the lighting moving in between each frame and combined in postproduction.

The resulting image was able to be cropped in many different ways to produce a variety of media that had a consistent and recognizable marketing theme.
