I wanted to create a large print that captured the beauty, and mystique of the animal. I chose to frame the composition as a Fibonacci spiral, and decided to shoot it in high key.
Results
Heaven's Gate became a wonderful print on Hanhnemule William Turner textured paper. It created the mood I was hoping for. Excellent texture and detail, with a shallow depth field and focus falling off to the eyes, as the horse is basked in the bright sunlight.
