The assignment for this project was to create an app that could benefit some group of society.
Ploop. The app that'll save the weary traveler while they might be prairie dogging. This speculative app design helps the user plan where to park their load when they need to drop a load. Before the start of a road trip, the user will put in the starting location, the end location, and how many miles they can make it before they have to use the restroom. It'll then show them all the recommended stops they should take along the way or give them the opportunity to look in that area for one they'd prefer.
Ploop gives crud language and humor a purpose. The design concept was to have fun, be cheeky, and let the user know there is nothing to be embarrassed of. The logo plays off toilet paper, while the language holds nothing back, just like anyone using the can. Now sit down, scroll through, and enjoy the ploop. Every element of Ploop comes together to successfully create an app that simply allows the user to use it and make it a fun experience instead of a chore. The app makes the most stressful part of road trips into something fun and humorous.
