The typographical artwork BALT_TYPOJAZZ was created for the International exhibition "Travelling Letters 2013" which was held in Helsinki, Finland. The concept of the exhibition was Typographical Jazz, so my idea was to create and a static and a dynamic typographical composition at the same time. Tall column was constructed from black static numbers, letters which look like moving, transforming, creating strange lines, texture in between of them
The Typeface "BALT" I created in 2009. This is my personal project. The main objects used in an artwork are numbers from 0 till 9. The column was constructed as a 3D object from numbers. All numbers were rotated to different sides and connected each to other.
The typographical artwork BALT_TYPOJAZZ was printed by using Lenticular printing. Lenticular printing is a technology in which a lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles.
