Villa Zebra is a children's museum on contemporary art. In the exhibition 'Labyrint' children explore the work of 10 contemporary artist in a labyrinth-like environment.

Target audience: children in the age between 7 and 12 years (and their parents). The posters are distributed in the city of Rotterdam during the holidays to attract children and their parents to the museum.

The work of contemporary artist Katja Mater on the poster looks like a labyrinth and the labyrinth-effect is enhanced by the shadows and layered typography.

I see it as a challenge to work on a design for children that is attractive but not childish. It is important to take children serious.

The result is a layered, labyrinth-like poster. A cheerful but serious design.
