create cover art for Lou Reed and Metallica collaboration, based on German playright Frank Wedekind’s “Lulu” series of plays written at the turn of the 19th & 20th centuries, (quite scandalous at the time) in which the main character, Lulu, dances her way through German high society in tales involving sex, lies and murder
Lou wrote the lyrics and Metallica the sound.

it morphed from simple shot of a bust on white, to pigs blood painting, nude models, countless nights of photo-shop, flights to Berlin and art show in Chelsea

we produced various versions of the possible cover art. some more risque then other, quite in line with the original play.
