An experimental poster that explores the processes and methods of compressing, retaining and retrieving information from both the physical and digital environments.

Archived Enlightenment makes use of visual metaphor, postmodern typography and the exploration of technological advancement. The combination of a segmented (or layered) context, implied physicality, virtual space, storage compartmentalization, deconstruction, and skeletel remains, all aid in depicting the compression and retrieval of information—be it through time or technology. The poster combines photographic elements, graphic wire framing, digital typography and 3D environments.

The resulting piece belongs to a series of research intensive visual explorations that examine the intersection of research, design and typography. This work investigates the understanding of thought development, process examination and layered complexity.
