This project was the first project in my Advertising class, and the assignment was simply to choose a brand from a specified list and create an advertisement for them.
In my research, I found that senior women are the highest population of Airbnb hosts and the highest-rated. Therefore, I chose to play off the idea of going to grandma’s house by changing the words to a well-known poem. The humorous nature of the ad targets young people who are more likely to use the service.
Aside from receiving a high grade, this project was chosen for a juried show at my school’s gallery.
