The project's goal was to create a loosely branded piece for Faceout Studio about the creative process and the struggle between designers and their deadlines.

The approach ended up flirting with a pessimistic look at the life of a designer. It highlights how often designers must force themselves to create right to the last minute, represented by icons for lack of sleep, burning the candle at both ends, and the pains ingrained in the process. But it also shows how a deadline can be used as fuel to work through the pain, it shows that being a designer is a balance of inspiration and dedication.

It was easy for other designers to empathize with the mystical and iconic elements on the poster which are universally felt, from students to senior designers.
