The children of Gaza instead of celebrating Eid Al-Fitir by getting new clothes, toys, and candies, the Israeli forces are sending their rockets and bombs as Eidia “greetings”, killing 39+ children so far.
Approach
The Children of Gaza have nothing else to play with to celebrate their Eid but empty metal hangers and bombs instead of new clothes and toys. By reshaping metaphorically the metal hangers into rockets, it triggers the only childhood memories that the Children of Gaza remember in their Eid during the war. The cloth tag stitched icons have been replaced with the iconic horror, tragedy and death. they witnessed. Hangers in poor areas like Gaza usually used as an alternative tools to help them with their daily lives including but not limited to create toys for children.
Results
Many celebrities in Palestine and around the world shared the poster as a statement to END the war in Gaza since many of the victims are innocent children. They just want to live a normal life instead of the endless war that started in 2014 and recently in 2021.
