Complex to establish and fragile to maintain, freedom and peace are essential foundations to an enduring and healthy society. Cautiously built upon an intricate web of compromise, protest, activism and power, peace is as much a political construct as it is a cultural mandate.

Coexist_In Freedom is an exploration of methodology, experimentation, visualization and historical-activist research. Structured as an ideological and visual duality, the piece attempts to contrast the idyllic purity of peace as a construct, versus the chaotic reality of differing voices and opinions about how to achieve—or suppress it.

Coexist_In Freedom was included in the 20 × 20 Poster for Peace exhibition that has travelled to multiple locations in the US and Iran.
