The origin of the brand “BATATA”
Batata icon was created in 1992, in Portugal.
When I was studying in Portugal more than 20 years ago, I often heard the teenagers saying “BATATA” which means potato, also implying “stupid”. Among the young people, “BATATA” is a word to tease their peers for their sincere but naive behaviour.
Doing what we love to do, and even paying a high price for love… Is it a matter of our attitude towards life, or simply an act of foolishness?
