Beauty portfolio development and model test.

Inspired by the work of Mark Rothko who layered color on top of color on top of color to create glowing paintings, I used Rosco Labs gels on Desisti Fresnels, movie lights, to layer color on color on my studio wall. Then I blended those color on the model and even as flares into the lens.

This was an entirely new approach to color and lighting in my work. What's left from Rothko isn't the feeling of a painting but his inspiration and the glowing blending of layered colors.
