To design a conceptual pictorial logo by combining two objects.
Approach
For this assignment, I combined a barber pole + a skateboard to create a logo for a skate & barber shop. I wanted to integrate the two similar forms in order to create a cohesive mark that reads as both a barber pole and a skateboard.
Results
I was able to create a simplified logo with a familiar color palette and a bold, contemporary typeface to give both a modern and classic feel.
