The goal of this project was to create a poster for a candle pouring event in Phoenix, Arizona.
Approach
This project started with research about imagery, symbols, and colors that represent Arizona and the cactus was chosen as a familiar object to represent the state. The color palette is that of warm complementary colors that draw together the culture of Arizona and the identity of the candle pouring event.
Results
Overall, the goal of this project was met through the creation of a poster that both represents this event and the state of Arizona as a whole through a clean and cohesive design and color palette.
