Assignment

For the creative, wanted a concept that felt as iconic as the infamous Elizabeth Holmes, while leaning into Amanda Seyfried’s electrifying performance and expressions.

Approach

In the key art, we focused on Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes and her “nanotainer” of blood. We played with a small field of depth which would take the vile of blood out of focus and pull your attention toward Amanda, symbolizing the blurring of the lines between truth and deception.

Results

The Dropout won the hearts of critics and viewers alike, with Amanda Seyfried winning both an Emmy and a Golden Globe award for her portrayal.
