This poster was produced to raise awareness of the war and genocide in Darfur.
Approach
The militia in Darfur use starvation, mass murder, displacement and rape as weapons of war to maintain control of their lands. This shocking fact is what influenced the concept for this poster: Rape, 1 of 4 weapons used daily in Darfur. Lettering the word rape with bullet shells further enhance the idea of war and genocide.
