These posters were created to brand our annual holiday party, which in 2014 was renamed and branded as the Inebriation Proclamation. The event was held in Philadelphia, so we decided to take an approach that felt like the forefather's themselves might want to attend – not only for the open bar, but because they couldn't resist the branded awesomeness. We created a type style that started with the Letter Head Font's typeface, Desire, and over embellished the ligatures in the same fashion that Franklin himself might have overdone it at the bar. We then added in a bold and iconic illustration style and screen printed all of the posters in-house. The project was deemed a success when almost all the posters disappeared from the walls by the end of the party.
