This assignment focuses on composition, typographic hierarchy, pacing and time and sequence of type and image. Students selected a film of their choice to create a unique and appropriate title sequence.

I chose to use imagery of a photo of Amy Winehouse burning, in reverse, to transition the viewer from Amy's tragic death to the start of the documentary, which begins with a young Amy. I used Amy's song, "Stronger Than Me," in reverse to create a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack.

The resulting film uses flames metaphorically to represent the sad fate that befell Amy Winehouse, a beloved musician and incredibly talented vocalist.
