The assignment was to take an existing client and find ways to create a brand extension.
Approach
My client was The Adolphus Hotel, a luxury hotel located in Dallas, TX. I approached this assignment by looking into the history of the hotel and decided to create an additional logo for the hotel's housekeeping that featured the hotel's namesake Adolphus Busch.
Results
The result is an illustrated caricature of Adolphus Busch within an ornamental badge. The logo was designed with evenly weighted linework to give a modern feel. The crossed keys in the logo represent the housekeeping aspect of the design. The final result is a sophisticated, but not overly intricate logo.
