This poster was designed in response to the political state of affairs in the USA further illuminated by the federal government shutdown in 2013.
The style of the design references the Poster Style (Plakatstil) from the turn of the twentieth century and the influential designer, Lucian Bernhard.
The poster is sold to support a grassroots effort to raise awareness around local politics in Bowling Green, Ohio and encourage community involvement.
