The prompts "uncanniness" and "cuteness" were discovered during a search of collections on Craigslist. Dolls are both uncanny and cute, but they also reflect a history of racism. Poster and installation are made to raise awareness of the problematic history and uncanniness of dolls.
The smaller “dolls” are stuffed with fiberfill for people to take home and read the racist history of dolls. Typefaces used are Format 1452 & Kepler.
