This projects goal was to create an eye catching banner and logo for use on a magazine.
Approach
I began this process by looking through photographs of old wallpaper until I found a pattern that would work well at this scale. Then I chose a bold, slab serif typeface that would maintain legibility while containing the wallpaper's texture.
Results
The final result is unique, fun, and easily read and recognized from a distance.
