For five years Auto and Truck Services has been running a combination of installations, social campaigns, posters and other guerilla tactics to distinguish themselves as “The Art of repair”.
For their 2019 poster campaign, Auto & Truck wanted to feature their actual mechanics as the real difference between Auto & Truck and just any repair shop. To accomplish this, we enlisted part photography and part old masters paintings to bring the artists(mechanics) to life. This poster is the first of 4 that will feature Rembrandt ( pictured here), Frederico Barocci, Pellegrino Tibaldi and Giogio Vasari.
Service on cars is up 76% over last year, against their new target audience of women motorists. Because the campaigns have established an approachable personality, they see more and more women drivers not too intimidated to drive into the service bay.
