Peace Care is a global health nonprofit dedicated to creating sustainable grassroots change in the developing world. To help Peace Care share a compelling view into the work they do, 50k and Peace Care were awarded a Sappi Ideas that Matter grant that led to the development of a communications toolkit, which includes a documentary shot during a Peace Care trip to Senegal.
The captivating film highlights Peace Care’s model of partnership through the lens of cervical cancer screening work in Kédougou alongside the Ministry of Health and Social Action, Peace Corps Senegal, Cheikh Anta Diop University, the University of Illinois at Chicago and Rotary International. The film gave voice to Peace Care's many partners and showed the impact the organization's work is having in communities in need.
One of the keys to Peace Care's success has been translating Peace Care’s complex operating model into accessible communications. The film has helped attract potential donors, partner organizations and volunteers, opening up conversations around the globe and helping the organization extend its reach and grow awareness.
