Oklahoma State University Research Foundation Branding Design

Prior to this project, the Oklahoma State University Center for Innovation and Economic Development tasked itself with cultivating collaborative relationships with industries across the state of Oklahoma. This non-profit organization used its resources to invest in industries and technologies that would benefit both Oklahoma State and the state of Oklahoma itself. Our task was to give this organization a new brand and name to better reflect its outreach and collaborations. With this, the Oklahoma State University Research Foundation was born, an organization with the same goals and ambitions for growth and prosperity but with better representation as a bridge between the university and industry.
Our goal with this new branding was to emphasize the bridging or keystone aspect of this organization giving greater attention to the relationships it generates with state growth and university resources both human and financial. The new name cuts down on cluttered words and better communicates the intentions of this organization creating an all-around better brand. One challenging aspect of this project was developing a brand that stayed in line with OSU's strict style guide, keeping in mind the colors and typeface already set in places.
