The vegetable scrubber is made out of bamboo, so the most immediate design solution would be to design a natural and eco-friendly looking package. I didn't want to do that, as I felt there was more potential for this funky-shaped vegetable scrubber. My first reaction upon receiving the scrubber was to wield it like it was a set of brass knuckles. This made me realize that the scrubber was a weapon, a weapon against any dirt or bacteria found on vegetables. Taking it a step further, I added the additional setting of a medieval town, a place that probably would've benefitted from a few vegetable scrubbers. This added a natural setting and a connection to a time where people actually did have to fight against food-borne bacteria.
