Develop the brand strategy and logo to promote the Southern Vermont region to tourists during all 4 seasons in a sophisticated, fun and friendly way. Before the redesign the region was mostly visited during the winter and tourism was slow during the remaining time of the year.
Discovery conversations with the client team as well as research about competitive vacation destinations and the target audience lead to key insights directing the creative. Brainstorming, sketching, presentations, and iterations lead to a fun logo series with a different logo variation for each season. The focus of the mark are the mountains which are iconic for Southern Vermont. The execution is contemporary, colorful and fun which attracts the target audience, conveys a vacation full of exciting activities and also differentiates from the competition.
The client team euphorically implemented the logo with a digital media campaign after unveiling the new brand at a local chapter meeting.
