Morso is a Munich based coffee shop in authentic Italian bar style offering warm and cold beverages as well as typical small sweet and salty snacks which are consumed for breakfast, lunch, coffee time and afterwork hours.
The name of the coffee shop was inspired by the meaning of the Italian word "Morso" which means "Bite". Therefore Michael Daiminger Design has chosen a "M"-shaped symbol that can be seen as a beak of a small bird in a nest graving for food as well as folded napkin and finally is the initial letter of the name itself. The lettering is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Italian typography.
As this particular style meets the current Zeitgeist that is desperate for tradition and authenticity the coffee shop has proven to be a social get-together well received by a very sophisticated, intellectual and creative crowd living in the surrounding Schwabing neighborhood.
