This poster was designed to illustrate the issues relating to packaging and sustainability. Packaging is one of graphic design's major outputs. However, the packaging industry is partly responsible for filling up our landfills, rivers and oceans with plastic that can take ages to decompose – up to 500 years. And as a bonus most recycling centres can't recycle plastic lids.

The poster is a deconstruction of the word packages made from plastic lids and bottle tops that have been found in the ground where they are not decomposing. The word is broken into PACK and AGES to emphasise the duration of the environmental impact.
