Mi Quad Driver In-Ear Headphone adopts the advanced technology of hybrid quad drivers. Through the accurate frequency calibration at three frequencies, which are low, medium and high frequencies, the headphones have the ability to deliver clear, delicate and multi-dimensional sound. The packaging has to help show the sound effect and makes the product different from other similar product.

A nautilus shell consists of a spiral inner cavity that could resonate sound. Therefore, this packaging use an image of a sliced nautilus shell with a headphone embedded in it that associate with the prominent sound effect. To make the real feeling of the nautilus, the whole image embossed on the surface. The silver paper with black ink gives the packaging a low sparkle to indicate high technology feelings.

Due to the number of accessories and wires, the draw-out box structurally contains two layers. What jumps into your eyes first are the headphones and its wires once you open the box, while accessories including the Bluetooth adapter are laying in the second layer. By doing this, the integrity and simplicity of the box can be immensely ensured.

For this project, we are trying to find a new design look for electronic products. The design uses a nautilus image to show the prominent sound effect on paper-based packaging. It also introduces different printing methods to highlight electronic and sonic feelings. Thus, by touching the packaging, the customer could feel the prominent sound of the earphone.
