We were tasked with making the film feel big and mysterious – it's the next big YA dystopian hit, after all.
Approach
In the movie “the noise” refers to women’s abilities to read men’s minds (a major plot point to the mystery). We needed a way to portray this without making it look trite and comedic.
Results
When the client responding well to our gold palette, we took it a step further and used fire as the sci-fi element that allowed Viola (Daisy Ridley) to read Todd's (Tom Holland) mind.
