The objective for this project was to create a surreal movie poster for the Chicago underground film festival. I was given the festival topic "Something Blue" and was quickly inspired by the idea of a haunted portrait of a victorian woman.

This project only spanned one week, so I worked very quickly with minimal art direction to bring the piece together. Due to COVID-19, I did this project entirely remote. I modeled for it myself, and took all of the photographs in my own home. All of the objects incorporated into the image are family heirlooms belonging to my mother, so it was extremely gratifying to be able to breathe new life into them.

This project was extremely successful, I received wonderful criticism from my professor and my classmates. Overall, this was a successful project that came together extremely quickly despite the circumstances of the current pandemic.
